6. Check to see that the GPIB option is detected by
the PHU. The block of the slot interface
indicates the GPIB port status.
Indicates that the GPIB port is
available.

7. Press “Meter” key, make sure the instrument is
ready for remote control.

GPIB constraints  Maximum 15 devices altogether, 20m cable
length, 2m between each device
 Unique address assigned to each device
 At least 2/3 of the devices turned On
 No loop or parallel connection
